INTROSPECTION
Introspection is examination of one’s own conscious thoughts and feelings. It generally provides a privileged access to our own mental states.
Week 1 : Introspection - Be in Soul-Consciousness stage
A human being is soul and body, spirit and matter, working together co-operatively. The body is like the hardware of a computer and the spiritual energy, the soul, is a tiny chip of light, where all things are recorded. When we go into introspective ( deep) silence, it is in this chip of light, which is actually a point of light energy that we can remember and rediscover.
The tiny chip of invisible light starts to work effectively when it plugs into its original consciousness and reactivates those original qualities, which enable the soul to work and express itself naturally. The connection is achieved through the power of concentrated thought; this is called 'consciousness of the soul'. The process of experiencing 'soul consciousness' is carried out in meditation: gathering all the thoughts of the mind, creating one concentrated thought and very gently running inwards in order to make the connection with the Original self, the SOUL.
Week 2 : Introspection – True Introspection is realization of our inner qualities.
Realizing one's own mistakes and making amendments is usually associated with negative feelings. But true Introspection lies in realizing one's own positive qualities. It is to see ourselves with "real eyes" and see the hidden potential and strengths. When we truly realize, there is change and that mistake would never be repeated. Today I will see strength of mine. This is some quality that I really like about me. In whatever I do today, I will keep awareness of this specialty as a background. This will help me bring quality to whatever I do.
Week 3 : Introspection - To make an appointment with the self is to increase self-esteem.
To make an appointment with someone means to spend quality time with that person. When I make an appointment with myself too, I need to make use of it fully. So, from time to time during the day, I need to go within and see the specialties that I have. I need to get back to work and interactions with the consciousness of these specialties, which will color positively all that I do. Today I will learn from the tortoise. Just as it withdraws within from time to time, so also let me take just a minute to Introspect and see the specialties that I have. The more I spend such quality time with myself, I am able to increase my own state of peace, happiness.
Week 4 : Introspection – It enables one to be free from the influence of negativity.
Introspection means the desire to be good. Introspection brings the ability to look within and see the true self in the mirror of the heart, thus enabling one to activate the inner spirituality. Then all effort made will be towards activating this inherent goodness. And slowly one finds that the behavior associated with negative traits are no more expressed, as they begin to lose their hold. When I am able to Introspect and look within, I can find the goodness that is there within me. Because of this, I am naturally free from expectations from others that they should recognize my goodness or consider me good. Instead I find myself content with what I am and continue to bring out the best from within me. I also continue to learn from all situations and experience progress.
